International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Male Vocalist of the Year Nominee, AUDIE BLAYLOCKis featured on the cover of September’s Bluegrass Music Profiles Magazine (BMP). The magazine includes an in-depth interview with Blaylock, a AUDIE BLAYLOCK & REDLINE centerfold poster, and a review of the band’s new album HARD COUNTRY that tops the publication’s Top 10 CD Chart at #1 for September.
HARD COUNTRY, produced by AUDIE BLAYLOCK, is receiving significant airplay with numerous tracks from the album appearing on the bluegrass radio charts. “A Real Good Way To Lose,” written by Josh Shilling and Jon Weisberger, appears at #15 on the BMP Top 30 Hot Singles chart for September. The song climbs five spots on September’s Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine (BU) Top 30 Song Chart with HARD COUNTRY debuting at #13 on the BU Top 15 Albums Chart. Three songs, “A Natural Thing,” “Philadelphia Lawyer,” and “The Chair” have appeared on the Bluegrass Today Top 20 Airplay chart with “A Natural Thing” hitting #1 earlier this month.
In a recent review of HARD COUNTRY, LONESOME HIGHWAY stated, “If I were to select one album from this years bluegrass output to introduce a non-believer to the joys of bluegrass then this would have to be it, from it’s very well designed cover art to all ten memorable and well balanced bluegrass to my taste tracks.”

AUDIE BLAYLOCK & REDLINE can be seen on the upcoming Lost Echoes Production TV special BLUEGRASS COMES TO THE VALLEY Part 1 (airing September 10 – 16) and Part 2(airing September 17 – 23). This exciting new show debuts on Reno’s Old Time Music Festival” on RFD-TV and is hosted by Ronnie Reno. The event was supported by the Mt. Vernon-RockCastle County Tourist Commission and the City of Mt. Vernon.
Audie Blaylock can also be seen on another upcoming TV special – “Christmas: The Mountain Way” – a live performance musical show showcasing Christmas and its traditions in the Appalachian Mountains.
